Beylerbeyi House

Beylerbeyi House

Autoban designed the first dedicated Istanbul headquarters for Beylerbeyi İçecek, an independent beverage company known for its cultured, unconventional ethos. Set within a 1960s-era detached house in Emirgan, the project represents a conscious departure from conventional office design, favouring intimacy, character, and connection over formality and hierarchy.

Rather than imposing a new identity, Autoban’s design approach sought to reveal and refine the existing soul of the house. The original layout was preserved, with interventions conceived as subtle acts of tailoring, custom radiator coverings, natural material palettes, and gentle spatial rhythms that enhance rather than overwrite. The result is a working environment that feels both personal and professional: communal, layered, and human.

Custom furnishings in navy and walnut tones, veined burgundy marble, and iconic lighting pieces such as the Pipistrello and Atollo lamps bring quiet sophistication, while curated objects and artwork from the client’s collection add personality and cultural texture. There are no executive offices, only flowing, shared spaces that reflect the company’s open, hospitality-led culture. A lush garden anchors the property, serving as a daily gathering space, an event venue, and a green sanctuary in the heart of the city.

The Beylerbeyi House redefines what a workplace can be: a lived-in, sincere, and distinctly local environment that speaks to identity, memory, and the future of work.
