Octo is an elevated seafood restaurant in the new JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel which offers a memorable dining experience. The historic building was brought to life through the restoration of the 180 year old Veli Alemdar Han in the Karaköy neighborhood on the stunning Strait of the Bosphorus.

Autoban’s design for the restaurant was deeply informed by the historical and geographical importance of the region as well as the cultural texture of the neighborhood, which is known to be trendy, eclectic and bohemian.

The restaurant is located on the 9th floor terrace of the hotel, which offers panoramic views of the Bosphorus and neighboring old city. A modern interior and atmosphere of sophistication is achieved with a selection of bespoke Autoban furnishings, while the design remains true to the historic and elegant building with a range of Ottoman influenced touches.
