1,5 Chair

The 1.5 chair is about sharing a chair, a response to technology’s increasing isolation of the individual. Its oversized seat accommodates people of larger girth, but also two people of slight build, or even just a person who spreads out while seated. The design of the chair is reduced to the bare essentials, with angled rear legs giving it a twist. Later, by enlarging 1.5, the 2.5 bench was born.
