Big Lamp

Formed by boomerang-shaped wooden panels that rotate in a full circle, Big is a pendant lamp, which can easily be mistaken for a sculpture hanging from the ceiling. The neon bulb at the core of the lamp diffuses soft daylight and makes Big an even more visually engaging design. Playing with layers and geometrical forms, the designers were looking for a way to reach beyond the classic pendant light. The use of a single material and repeated form generated the solution.
